Well if it works for you, all well and good. It must be different in your field.
But, I find it really difficult to believe relevant information isnt being left out if you've been contracting more than 5 years.
When clients are issuing job spec's with 10 or 12 'requirements,' 2 or 3 lines per job is unlikely to get past many HR's and \ or agents.
Seriously, you could change your job descriptions to someone's Greek holiday travel diary and the agent would never have a clue.
Clients, dates, core tech and location is all they are interested in. If you wish to hide that in a pile of "and after that project I moved team, just down the corridor to work with another group and they had nicer wallpaper" then you are confusing them.
