I agree with the general premise of this thread.
There is a lot of distasteful, barely concealed racism going on on this forum.
To my mind that is classical scapegoating: rather than blaming the generally poor, short-termist management that is rife and the administrative incompetence or worse that allows incomers to game the system, we pick on a group to blame for own ills.
But this is CUK, where cretinism is normal, so it shouldn't be a surprise.

I'm just as concerned about the upcoming influx of Eastern Europeans - as well as the amount of them we have here already. It's not about race it's about trying to feed the 5000 with three loaves and a fish as far as infrastructure in this country is concerned. It's full up and it's our country, not theirs.

Valid concerns but these come with being part of Europe. However, from what I have seen, London is slightly different as much richer immigrants are buying there... BUT.. it's not as if this is without government support who are are erm.. white British for the majority.
