Thank you to whoever it was on here who pointed out the thread in Business/Contacts about Jobserve. I could rep you but I'm lazy to scroll back and find the post.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Made over 100 JS applications in the past week. Not one call. Not a sausage. Prior to this week I've had calls.
Is it :
a) Quiet market with bogus JS ads (it happens)? b) CV smells tulipty for some reason? c) Your most recent gig was not a BA role, you are applying for BA roles and most agents are too ******* stupid to read beyond the first role?
d) There is a conspiracy out to get SY01 and the bastards won't rest until he last lost everything including his mind?
e) It's been a week you turd, calm the **** down and think seriously if you are cut out for contracting?
f) Contact AndyWs mother, she'll hook you up.

It's the way to go, I get phone calls based on updates from my linkedin profile. I don't bother with jobserve, as most of the roles are generalised and fishing ploys.

That's how I got this role - updated LinkedIn and someone I worked with 12 years ago rang me and asked when I could start. Hardly spoken to him in the past 10 years (if at all!) but LinkedIn seems to be getting better at this kind of thing.
