How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I was thinking of heading out to Oakham to visit a couple of secondhand bookshops, but it's beginning to look like:

Looks like my search for a nice 1920s Cambridge edition of Sir Thomas Browne's Hydriotaphia: Urn Burial; or, A Discourse of the Sepulchral Urns Lately Found in Norfolk (1658) will have to wait.

other than that am bored sh!tless, TV is pants, what else to do?

          training to chick you

depending on the bike course this year am thinking of having a minute break on each of the turning points and aim for negative splits, just to liven it up abit - that will give you 10k x18 time trails - then I can chick you x10

I remember last year the race favourite(Anthony Gerundini) went passed me - I speeded up and passed him for about 100m. Even though he was probably 6 laps in front of me I still loved it. I bet he thought what a saddo......

Current plan (well last I heard) is for there to be 4 turning points at midnightman. To avoid speed humps. The 2 on the dual carriage way and 2 at each end of the bus expressway. Which of course means 4 ninety degree turns too! Will probably mean 20 laps.

The run course can then go all the way round the speed humps bit.

No posting this on tritalk as John will kill me!

Entertaining a slighter older lady tomorrow evening with a seven course Italian meal:-

Courgette and parmesan soup amuse bouche
Clams in a white wine sauce
Prawns wrapped in prosciutto and fried in butter
                    Pizza Florentine
                    Caprese salad
                    Tagliatelle and creamy lobster sauce
                    Espresso Granita
                    Creme Caramel
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.
