I never liked Genesis until Gabriel left & then I heard the Paperlate EP and my life was never the same again.

Though I rate Collins as a drummer, it's his vocal range that I admire; that combined with the arrangements on "Can't Hurry Love" puts Phil Spctor and The Supremes' version to shame IMO.
I'll have a pint of whatever you're taking
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I got a formal training in pad when I was 10 with Pomeskis I wasn't allowed to get near a snare till I had mastered rudiments on a pad, then I got 2 years on a snare then I eventually got near a kit.. I was pretty exceptional at the kit.

I was tulip hot, I could rhythm out the most complicated beats, I would do stuff then try and add in more hits and more beats.

Then I heard Superstition and realised I had missed the point of the whole thing.

That is a long winded way to say Neil Peart lost it well before me.

Honestly most of this pretty standard stuff if you have a formal snare training...

Anyone who thinks Collins is mainstream should Listen to Mama.

That blood curdling scream he does half way through is right out of the left field. Pure Warhol.
