Chad Smith must be up there as well.
Was at this gig. He could go on like this all day it seemed ... impressive
He and Flea were still playing after the rest of the band were at the bar as well.

Excellent troll attempt but I'm onto you. No mate. A better rock drummer than Peart does not exist. Even the fact that you have asserted that means I have to power off this laptop now and chuck it on the compost heap. VDU also. Ah well it had a good run.Originally posted by minestrone View PostYou english should apreciate the Collins, I would say he was a better drummer than the Peart and those Canadians love him.

On spare laptop now.
Yes yes. This is what drummers will tell you. PC's album Face Value was one of best. Brilliant songs, excellently performed and all a bit "different".Originally posted by minestrone View PostHe is a fantastic drummer, that always gets missed, certainly in my top 10 UK drummer list.
An everlasting argument. Loved Gabriel, loved The Lamb. It's Collins for me though.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostGabriel was better.Comment

I never liked Genesis until Gabriel left & then I heard the Paperlate EP and my life was never the same again.
Though I rate Collins as a drummer, it's his vocal range that I admire; that combined with the arrangements on "Can't Hurry Love" puts Phil Spctor and The Supremes' version to shame IMO.Comment
