Yep, quite fancy one of them, or even a treadmill, but nowhere to put it apart from the living room. -
Why not have a clear out in the drawing room? (Equally good post for the euphemism thread).Originally posted by mudskipper View PostYep, quite fancy one of them, or even a treadmill, but nowhere to put it apart from the living room.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Running in the snow is harder work but it's great.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostI've got no 'equipment' at home. How do you exercise when it's snowy? Running and cycling seem to be a bad idea, although my parkrun are still running tomorrow. Seems like a bad idea - likely to end up in the canal, even if the roads are passable.
Slightly different muscles too, for a bit of variety.Comment

I might have a walk tomorrow."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Rode in to work today, 4 miles each way.
Morning journey was at 07:10 and no snow, homeward leg was more interesting in 2-3" of snow, very hard work on offorad tracks but good fun.
Studded tyres helped

Snow is fine and even good for making it tough, but ice (i.e. snow anyone walked on) is a non-non surely without special footwear.
The idea of shovelling snow is actually a good one, clear your street for the neighbours and you'll be knackered.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
