There was a school of thought that if you only chew the food and then spit it out you get all the taste and most of the nutrition from the food but lose weightOriginally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?

There's also one that encourages people to chew their food properly rather than hoovering it down, it encourages the gatric juices to digest your food properly and therefore you feel sated as opposed to still hungry.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostThere was a school of thought that if you only chew the food and then spit it out you get all the taste and most of the nutrition from the food but lose weightComment

I think all these types of advice are to get you to eat slower. Another is to take a sip of water after every mouthfull of food.Originally posted by norrahe View PostThere's also one that encourages people to chew their food properly rather than hoovering it down, it encourages the gatric juices to digest your food properly and therefore you feel sated as opposed to still hungry. If at first you don't succeed... skydiving is not for you!Comment

just watched Embarrassing Fat Bodies, god what a load of fatties, some making no effort, although one guy had lost a load of weight but needed help getting rid of the excess skin.
Eat less and take exercise seems to be the answer."The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." CiceroComment

What was the advice? Surgery? AFAIK, no amount of diet/exercise will unstretch stretched skin.Originally posted by Waldorf View Postjust watched Embarrassing Fat Bodies, god what a load of fatties, some making no effort, although one guy had lost a load of weight but needed help getting rid of the excess skin.

Not sure if I have mentioned it but I started the Insanity DVDs in November at 15st 8 and weighed in recently (after a 2 week break at Christmas) at 14st 9.
I am now combining it with getting a Graze box everyday to help eat healthily.Comment

Watch out for the graze boxes - the calories can really add up.Originally posted by MyUserName View PostNot sure if I have mentioned it but I started the Insanity DVDs in November at 15st 8 and weighed in recently (after a 2 week break at Christmas) at 14st 9.

I have always been advised to chew lots, eat slowly and drink water with each meal.Originally posted by TheBigD View PostI think all these types of advice are to get you to eat slower. Another is to take a sip of water after every mouthfull of food.
Also, watch the French; you'll not often see a French fattie, not as much as you tend to here in the UK, as they tend to eat less carbs than us (that's my theory), but also the fact they eat a lot more essential oils, lots of veg and also eat slower.Comment
