    No. He's a Catholic.

Jesus came to fulfill the law, not abolish it. But the council of Jerusalem ~AD50, said that gentiles do not have to keep the law - simply refrain from sexual immorality and consuming blood. Paul in his letters suggested the anger, murder, lying etc. were also not really on.

Tithing is mentioned only once in the NT, and that in not a particular positive context. Jesus said that it was fine that the pharisees were tithing even their smallest herbs, but they were neglecting important things, like mercy.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Test tube babies started to see unfertilized embroyes dividing. If they followed that research by now men would be extinct.

Maybe I should have joined the CoE where religious belief is optional?

Is that not a great suggestion for a poll?

Speaking to believers of God - that is what I tend to hear. They may not be open about it - perhaps a silent majority....

At my church there are two types. The non-religious (why are they at church?) who act and behave oddly.

But the other 50% are religious and have nothing against homosexuality - even if that is against the official position of the church. They welcome all of god's children equally.

*sigh* if only someone had told him that he would not have gaffed and said "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil".

But like I said the bible is the big book of multiple choice, people derive morals from their youthful influences, their peers, their society and personal experience and then pick bits of the bible that match.

Very few Christians actually read the bible, most simply have bits spoonfed to them every Sunday.

In the last few years or so they've managed to use the stem cells to fertilise an egg with no involvement needed from a male
