Just watched this on the news. Heartbreaking.

But what I really don't get is why a middle aged woman would need/want to own 4 guns?

On the news it says the boys mother owned two handguns and an assault rifle(same as the gun toting crazy I work with). She pulled out of a meeting the other morning all distressed banging on about how her son had gone loopy the night before because he has a drink and drugs dependency issue.

There are other figures and facts out there as well if you look at guns per capita around the world.

Such as the US likes all guns, the Canadians like hunting weapons and the Swiss like army issued hand guns.

It's to do with the tradition of forcing men to under go military training due to not having an army.

Least the Canadians and Swiss have a clear reason for their guns.

BTW different Americans due to where they live have a completely different attitude to guns.

Some of them think it's fun to take their assault rifle out, shoot random objects whilst drinking and letting their kid have a go. While others ensure their hunting rifle is locked away.

Both types are apparently educated and can get visas easy to work in the UK.
