Where is that option?Originally posted by NickFitz View PostSo? Just ignore it. If you don't follow them, you'll never hear from them again.
Just make sure your options aren't set to auto-follow anybody who follows you. Twitter spambots rely on that, because then their spam will get to people. If you don't follow them back you can forget about them. Well, unless you occasionally feel like going on a little spree and reporting them all for spam

Ah, from what I can tell they turned that off, so there's no need to worry about it: Twitter To Kill Off The Auto-Follow | TechCrunchOriginally posted by SimonMac View PostWhere is that option?
Enough people are dumb enough to just follow every account that follows them anyway, I suppose

Twitters very good for complaining about big companies....
Getting nowhere with getting something sorted - complain to them on twitter. They hate having it all aired in public.
A lot of big companies now seem to have media relations teams who specialise in dealing with complaints via facebook and twitter.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

This is what has sparked me having another look. A mate lost his baggage on a recent trip to the US and the airline gave him the brushoff until he started asking them via twitter. Cost him in data roaming thoughOriginally posted by psychocandy View PostTwitters very good for complaining about big companies....

I avoid all of the so called "social network" sites like the plague unless looking something specific up or directed to a fun or interesting link.
I've no desire to spread info about myself to a random massive audience.Comment
