Depending on where you want to hang out Angel and Shoreditch are quite trendy at the moment but expensive too. In Zone 1 I rented a place in Pimlico a few years back and enjoyed it (central location but cheaper than Kensington and Chelsea and similar housing stock) but like BP said you're never too far away from a not so good part of town.Comment
