Is she paying IR35?
Given that she obviously thinks of her client as her employer one can assume that equally she is keeping some money in her company for the National Insurance/Income tax on deemed salary.
If she thinks her existing creditors are barstewards, you wait till she has to deal with Hector! A situation that is more than likely to happen now she has put her head above the parapet - and they know she has a nice lucrative contract as well!Comment

Some of you think this woman is dumb but I tell you what...she has got the outcome she wanted.
The people she owes money to are backing off and giving her some breathing space. I doubt she would have achieved this without the Beebs help.

Hmm I can't see it, have they taken it down due to the sheer amount of abuse heading her way, or am I looking at the wrong page ?Originally posted by sillybeggarYou can now have "your say" at the bottom of the diary. I urge you to do so.Comment

It has been removed! maybe the feedback wasn't BBC suitable. They do like to actively filter the comments to make sure that any that do make the page uphold the BBC lineOriginally posted by ArdescoHmm I can't see it, have they taken it down due to the sheer amount of abuse heading her way, or am I looking at the wrong page ?Coffee's for closersComment

The funny one was the licence fee increase chat they ran that was reactively moderated...well that was until they clicked on to the fact that the vast majority of posts were against the licence tax going up
Once the chat was changed to fully moderated suddenly all these supporting posts started to appear "oh yes please, let me pay more", "the beeb makes the best shows on the face of the planet", "I am only too happy to pay more so as to maintain the beebs excellent reputation for superior programs" and so on.

I think the beeb have you say thing is one of the worst things on their website as they can and do decide what comments get shown so that they fit with the agenda the beeb has.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1!Comment

While commiserations for her tragedy, there is an unfortunate sequitur in her father being the advisor of all things financial, and for her current predicament to be the outcome.....Originally posted by ArdescoAgain if he emphasised the importance of putting something aside why didn't you??

Perhaps a better choice of words to prevent her and/or her father looking a bit incompetent.Comment
