My local Toyota dealership will now give you a 24 hr test drive under certain conditions, so I could fool you anyway, if I didn't really have one.

So, you've got a brand new car a couple of weeks ago, presumably with very few miles on the clock now and you're 'caning' it. When you say 'caning' it, do you mean you've got it up to 60 on a rural twisty or are you revving the **** out of it and hitting ton-up regularly?

It's not very fast, but doing 60 on a twisty is good fun. Oh and I'm revving it too ...

Surely if he was going to make upa me me me story about it he wouldn't pick a £26k car with 196 bhp that, as the Toyota dealer told me 'is a cheap sports car for people that can't afford a proper one'?

My money is he does have one and is enjoying what is supposed to be a pretty fun motor.

it may take a while, to save face SAS now has to go wandering his neighbourhood with a piece of paper and his mobile phone hoping not to upset the real owner of what looks like a fairly new GT86.

or more likely we'll get the "I don't need to prove myself to you or anyone, I have no point to prove" omitting the fact he started a thread on his toy in the first place.

If I was SAS and it was true, i'd be outside right now writing "F&&k u chef" on a piece of paper placing it on the dashboard and taking a photo from the outside just to prove I had the keys.. but then that's just me.

Personally I think it is a pretty smart looking car, particularly the back end. If it wasn't for the 197 bhp flat four engine I would think about it. Will stick to 350bhp V6 thanks.

How are the brakes? I seem to remember some issue with Toyota and brakes.

In my yoof I did want a Toyota Celica GT-Four. Still do I guess.
