actually, your wrong, i bought gf chef a brand new vw polo just a few months ago. the car was her request, not my choice and I believe it was down to ability to park in cologne and the fact that the only previous car was also a polo and she liked it.

if you wish, when I fly home tonight I can post you a pic with CUK written on it if you don't believe me? but only if you post your pic first.

EDIT: it will be dark when i'm home so it will be tomorrow morning, timestamped and before any dealers open so as to prove it wasn't a sas trick of borrowing from a dealer.

thanks for the compliment and you are usually correct in that I don't really care. I just like to see if SAS can prove his claim or not, I'm a stickler for details and I'm willing to take the gamble that SAS will do/say anything not to have to post that pic because he can't. I could however be very wrong and have embarrassed myself quite publicly on this forum but hey ho, life is about the unknown. As Admin says, it'll be interesting to see.

I'm simply pointing out that you saw the need to post a thread about how great your new toy is and yet when challenged about it you seem to believe that suddenly what is all the fuss about proving yourself. You're still making the same mistake - you're assuming I GAS what you think, what car you've bought etc.
You, on the other hand, seem to have some obsession about me.
If you prefer, why don't you just come to the conclusion that I'm making it up?

Not to the same extent as they used to, but they do still need running in, especially with regard to low gear/high revs under load.
