The key in this particular case is not that she was some sexually mature 15 year predator, who looked like an 18 year old. He admitted grooming her.

The age of consent in Holland is actually 12 where consent is given.

If a 17 year old has sex with a 15 year old in the UK with consent the 17 year old is out on a register and deemed a paedophile. That's wrong.

Where there is consent our law does not account for it.

What you are sprouting has no relevance to this particular case and also to how many police forces actually deal with cases of under 18 year olds engaged in sexual activity with one another.

However this pervert was nearly twice her age.

Not only did the accusation not have any merit, nor the fact that the so called victim in that instance was a proven fantasist of the first order. Nor the fact that Police didn't pursue enquiries, however apparently Bill Cotton Jr's word is mightier than all of that (according to the Dame), and so much so that a totally exonerated staff member is sacked for telling the truth to the enquiry (not as reported by the same BBC being unhelpful to the enquiry) , and now that this is all in the open the BBC can't 'comment' as it may become a legal issue. Personally I think that enquiry will become legendary for all the wrong reasons.
