Lately I can't stop myself thinking about work and it's starting to stress me out a bit. Any tips for de-stressing and emptying your mind? Yoga? Pilates? Wank?

Thinking about work
"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. "
Thomas Jefferson -
Just don't do them all at the same time.
I find since I work late on plan B or whatever, it can be hard to disengage. My preferred method is a nice hot bath with some music, my Kindle and a beer or glass of red.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -
You need to find something non-taxing to do that is all encompassing. Read a book, watch re-runs of family guy, play minesweeper, take up origami.Originally posted by Ruprect View PostLately I can't stop myself thinking about work and it's starting to stress me out a bit. I was thinking about work a lot, and discovered I needed hobbies to take my mind off. Boozing is a short term solution that only pushes reality away for a few hours, burns a hole in your wallet and makes you feel crap the next day.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Don't think about work much these days. Used to when I was permie - now have learned not to care much.
Having said that, last night I did dream a fix to some code I was working on yesterday. Solution implemented by 9am, leaving rest of day to post rubbish on CUK.Comment

She can't be completely mental if you have to impregnate her before life gets bad. The truly mental ones do that from the very first time they meet you.Originally posted by doodab View PostGet a completely mental girlfriend and impregnate her. I'd be carefully offering that some people around here pay more than that for 1 hour of personal stress relief.Originally posted by Gentile View PostI'll charge you £75 (plus VAT) for a half-day's consultancy, to fix all of your insecurity issues around confident women.
