Do you foresee any, shall we say, non-transitional problems after the readjustment of the market?
There are some disadvantages in that over your life in some situations your land value might rise to the extent that you may not be able to afford your tax. Never the less, you will still have gained because you will be able to sell your land/property for much more than you bought it. But if you had particular sentimental value to a house then that would be unfortunate.

        ...

I gotta say this is a wonderfully hijacked thread.

To answer the OP, anytime is a good time to bug your MP about IR35 but we will never get anywhere with it. HMRC have made their case well and we never have and never will have any significant influence over the matter.

And that's the only problem with your land value tax economic system?
I think we can conclude the fact you can sell you land for much more than you bought it is a minor flaw in what is really as close to an utopian economic system as we have seen.
Congratulations on the, no doubt, months and years of deep thinking and intellectual effort that must have gone into coming up with a truly brilliant system, such as this.
I suppose you'll be meeting world leaders soon after collecting your Nobel?

We seem to have a particular crop of stubborn and invasive cretins.

Well if you think there are other problems then let's hear it.

I think in a sea of cretins we may have found a genius.
After all coming up with an economic system that has so few problems compared to our current woes is a feat not be sneezed at.
I think we, at CUK, have a responsibility to make sure this economic system obtains the respect it deserves.

                    Repeat after me:

                    What do we want?!
An quasi-utopian economic system based on Land Tax whose only problem is you may have to sell your land for more than you paid for it!
                    When do we want it?!
                    Now!

                    Hard Brexit now!

It's your system, I don't know anything about it.
The onus is on you to think it through, not me.
