If you go cold turkey on the coffee you are going to feel pretty rough, expecting a belting headache and flu like aching. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Originally posted by SimonMac View PostI drink a lot of coffee, and I mean a lot, I am easily into double figures of normal cups of coffee during the day, topped up with Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso drinks, I try to counteract this with water, maybe 2 liters a day but I think I might need to go cold turkey for a bit to give the system a bit of a detox.
This is not going to be fun
Are you feeling nervous and paranoid?
Are you getting unexplained headaches?

Basically unless you're losing your appetite, losing weight, suffering a temperature in the evening or being sick ocasionally there's nothing to worry about.
If you have symptoms longer than a couple of weeks go and see a doc. You may have something like lactose intolerance or something equally harmless but might need treatment.I'm alright JackComment
