Why are you picking on the far smaller impact the failings of the public sector have caused rather the huge and gross problems caused by the private sector?Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostAre you saying that we should ignore the failings of the state because capitalism is not working as we would like it to?
Dont fall into the leftie trap of assuming that because I criticise the state I am lauding the private sector - I am not.
The only reason is your biased, dogmatic and ideological viewpoint.
If you were pragmatic you'd sort out the bigger problem first.Hard Brexit now!

I am talking about the poorer sections of society. As far I can see on health and education the private sector is not causing any problems for the less affluent of society. The problem I am trying to discuss is that it would presumably be quite good if the poor could enjoy the same services that richer people like you, scoobos and myself enjoy?Originally posted by sasguru View PostWhy are you picking on the far smaller impact the failings of the public sector have caused rather the huge and gross problems caused by the private sector?

I cannot see that sorting out the problems of capitalism will do anything to help the poor. If anything the crash of capitalism has made us think long and hard about how we are spending taxpayers money. I will add that the only way to stimulate wealth creation is to incentivise people by reducing tax and bureaucracy so it is not unreasonable to demand value for money from tax rather than look upon tax as the lefties do as a punishment.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

We can send all the lefties out to pick it - they are good at that.Originally posted by sasguru View PostIf the bigger problem is not solved there won't be any fruit at all.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment
