I am not a Tory. I support some of their policies and actions and I support some (sorry a few) policies of labour and liberal democrats, BNP, UKIP and the GREEN party.Originally posted by Scoobos View PostNice retort!
You should teach DA how to debate, he might learn he doesn't have to resort to nasty rhetoric, but swing the debate with logic instead.
DA- " but left wing government strategies of borrowing money to employ people to work on highly protected public sector jobs is not the way"
And the Tory way of borrowing money to prop up false markets is? The figures would suggest otherwise. Spending has gone UP under this coalition and so have revenues, which disguise just how much EXTRA they are spending - and all I recall seeing is an increase in Corruption in the news.
My point has to do with how tax is spent in giving the poor the same privileges and wealth that you and I enjoy. You seem to want to talk about something else.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

What they do have that you don't is a grip on the realities of living in poverty, having disabilities social and physical, the chance that life is (born with no ailments, born with ailments, where you are born, etc etc etc) - Mental health issues...

Because I have the temerity to demand that our public sector works for us rather than those who work in it? You lefties are really quite fanaticalOriginally posted by Old Greg View PostKill you and take your goods.

I do have a clue, how about pushing that Tax payers money to these institutions.
Where has our money gone? -
1. Olympics
2. Financial Service Bailouts
3. Tax treaties with Large corporations such as Vodafone, Unilever, Nissan etc.
I know its a boring record, but bailing out banks hasn't helped us 1 bit has it? It isn't working, and the inequality of wealth is growing just as fast as it was the last time Tories had the reigns.
Printing money and spending more on INTERNATIONAL companies and shareholders is losing us money.Comment
