I was able to follow 30% of todays discussions. Starting at 7am, it's been relentless all day, with a view to continue until 9pm tonight. We then start again tomorrow at 7am (500 miles away). Got to catch a flight at 10pm.
It's a shock to the system to be honest. I thought it would be, but not to this level. First time in maybe 8 years I've felt on edge. Nervous energy has yet to kick in, my head is spinning, I'm tired and my back is hurting. Self doubt is creeping in. Need to grit teeth.

And one month later, you find it's all a piece-of-pi55. Seriously, keep your head down, mouth shut, and just learn for a few weeks and you'll wonder what you ever fretted about.
Mind you, the 500 mile trips and 7 a.m. til 9 p.m. stints wouldn't have every attracted me in the first place. Unless they are paying you well in excess of £1k / day, I'd say you are mad.nomadd liked this postComment
