I got gardening leave once, with the proviso that if I worked anywhere else during the gardening leave period, I got the full payment in one go.

So I went contracting.

Well working from home because they kept calling me and emailing me for assistance

They could see my heart wasn't really in it. Also helped I'm pally with the MD. All I have to do is come in on the odd day to hand over to my successor - if they find one within 6 months. The job isn't advertised.
That's the best 6 months "work" I'll ever do.

If you were half as good as you think you are you wouldn't need to post this sh!t, you'd be living the dream and not giving a **** about anyone else.

Build it up all you like Walter, but sure as eggs are ovaliform, you will fall.
