They could see my heart wasn't really in it. Also helped I'm pally with the MD. All I have to do is come in on the odd day to hand over to my successor - if they find one within 6 months. The job isn't advertised.
That's the best 6 months "work" I'll ever do.

I know someone who has been on gardening leave for over 2 years with a 6 figure salary.
Person cannot be trusted near the office and cannot be shifted without a sh1t storm happening that nobody has the balls to see through.Comment
