In the beginning there was nothing. Which exploded.

Our entire Universe is nothing more than a soap-bubble floating around with other soap-bubbles. Sometimes they join together, some pop.

And God said "Let there be light."

Pick one of these or come up with your own.

Yes, Pastafarians worship the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

If worship is the right word.

But there's no generally agreed on "theory" for the Big Bang either. Many talk about a "random quantum fluctuation"; But that is little more than a reassuring form of words, which physicists use much as undertakers might say "gone to a better place" instead of "snuffed it".

Just because no recent alternative is generally agreed on and proven, doesn't mean the preceding assumption must be correct by default.

They don't know where those physical constants come from so it's a bit rich to speculate on whether the universe is fine-tuned when you don't know what you're on about.

To turn the argument on its head, what are the chances of nothing, absolutely nothing existing. Doesn't seem probable does it.

Since we know stuff does exist it certainly seems rather unlikely.

Do we? Seems to me that the more we learn, the less the universe seems to exist. Everything cancels out, with only a few things like causality remaining.

Matter cancels out but energy is always positive. So we end up back to 'let there be [only] light'
