Hiya all Windroid friends, instead of spending money and time with useless anti-spyware software just use this file as your host file:
http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.txt
Save this file as "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"
Make sure you remove the .txt or it won't work. Do this every now and again. I do this on my Linux systems though I don't really need to.
EDIT: this is great too when you want to obliterate facebook from your kids' pc's. Just add this line to the host file:
That's it. No more social networking!Code:127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com 127.0.0.1 en-gb.facebook.com/

Then add your laptop to the approved list and bosh a perfect tool for restricting
I've demonstrated this in our house couple weeks ago and kids were impressed and shocked that I could at the press of a key apply the blocking
