You have to have a skin thicker than Churchill soaked in vinegar and baked in an oven for 10 hours coupled with an 'I'm gods gifts' attitude to even think of doing cold calling.
I cant believe Im saying this, but you're right about needing a thick skin. However the right aptitude is possible within everyone with enough cocaine. One telesales place I work in my youth got shut down a while after I left as the manager was pushing/dealing coke to all the staff to keep them happy and revved up on the phones.Comment

As discussed it was probably 'self employed' I wonder if the government is going to close that loophole? If it walks like a duck etc its probably an employee.
