It's not a condescending or a leftie view, but a view that considers other people are worth something. And not in the way an agent would understand.

Refusing to act in a way which knowingly lets even a bad man be tortured is how we demonstrate we are better.
It is a condescending leftie view that is taken entirely to make the "leftie" feel better about himself. In parallel to this view is an implicit arrogance in the assumption that Jordan is an uncivilised country. What the selfish lefties are not able to consider is that their views often have adverse effects on others. So it may be fine to allow unfettered immigration for any seemingly poor soul but no consideration is given to the cost of feeding, housing and educating these people. Lefties make no personal sacrifices with their liberal views (you feel sorry for immigrants? - fine put them up in your own house then) the indulgence of which is paid for not by the leftie but the poorer sections of our own society that have to compete for example for places at local schools for their offspring.

Nah, wouldn't mastubate if someone popped him, I'd advise him not to too either, you know, them hooks can smart.

We seem able to deport people for internet 'crime' to a country that still has the death penalty, Australia manages to deport its peaodos here, even if they've taken aussie citizenship up, so I think we shoudl either lose him, pop him, or flick the v's up at Strasbourg and feck him off to Jordan where they can remove any of the other body parts he still has, without pain relief, and slowly.

If you dont like it, write to the guardian you soft bellied ****wits.

Coogan had a great line about him on BBC Radio 2 today - something to do with thinking he was called Abracadabra -> and that maybe we could magic him away.

Jordan is not an uncivilised country. It is a country ruled by a brutal dictatorship. To say otherwise is the worst kind of liberalism, that is not prepared to stand up for values such as liberty vs tyranny and right vs wrong. You remind me of a certain type of liberal who says , 'Who are we to condemn cultural practices such as female genital mutilation?'

Once again you appear to have no moral compass.

And what if you're further back the queue for a state sponsored extrajudicial execution?

My moral compass identifies that Abu Qatada endorses tyranny, torture and suppression.
