Give me a greenfield project next FFS otherwise I'll have to do my own thing. There's something quite soul destroying after a while knowing that you cannot fail to get a gig at 2k plus a week from surfing Jobserve. The
possibility of failing is what personally drives me.

Don't worry. We've all been there. (not with SY, like)
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

There is a correlation between age and happiness. Basically we start off happy and life beats it out of us. After a certain point we cheer up again as we start to lose our marbles.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

No, it sounds appalling. I'd have walked.

Decent bogs should be a minimum requirement of any place of work.

Cheapo drab offices with crap bogs are unacceptable.

Only ever enjoyed 2 jobs, both as a student.

                i) Barman with staff lock in.
                ii) Fruit picking.

I seem to be one of the few who enjoy working in IBs. I would do it for alot less money than I get now.

I enjoyed being a golf caddy. With regular bags you get to know their game better than they do, which can be tremendously satisfying.

Of course there are some players who you can give the right club and advise on the right line, but if they then shank it into the woods it's somehow your fault.

How is it acceptable to spend a large part of your life doing stuff that makes you unhappy?
