What has that got to do with the price of fish? None of us are clean on here. AtW was not being critical. However if you want to be sure of not getting points the only sure way is not to speed. Or as my mate who has been in prison 3 times says "If you can't do the time don't do the crime".

Ok fair enough but how do you explain 25 year of driving with no convictions then three so suddenly all mobile laser guns?

Either I've got faster or there are more laser guns. So I got caught at 35 in 30 three times, now if you telling me you've never done anything like this? If you haven't I'll align you with the Lord God Almighty. Difference I was unlucky, I got caught. Or was I unlucky, is it more cameras, three times in actually it's nine months isn't unlucky or is it, I was speeding, if the playing field was fair, fair enough.

But I'm 50 now should I should be going slower....

But who's to know that the mobile van isn't around your corner tmrw, at the 30 that you know so well where everyone does nearer 40, cos it's a wide road and it's the Leeds and Bradford road so it should be a 40, or are so perfect that you do do 30 when it's 30 all the time, every time?

It makes NO difference. It is completely irrelevant. All that matters here is the advice you receive - take it or leave it.

What the speed limit ought to be is irrelevant too.

The question is will any device save you if you speed? IMO no - but please feel free to ignore my advice and ask round until someone tells you what you want to hear.

The reason for your 3 tickets, I believe, is two things :-
1. police enforcing the limit
2. statistics. Do you know the odds of getting 5 heads or tails in a row on tossing 20 coins? Most think 5% - actually it is 25%. Generally one can tell if random stats are made up as not enough sequences - in fact in my degree I am sure I did a statistical test.

Please feel free to flounce if you like - but I am flouncing first. Speed, drive while on charlie, whine at AtW for trying to help you, do what the fook you like.

Well thanks to Platypus who slated me on the orig thread, but offered me some good stuff here, no thanks to AtW who is MF and a 'Зануда' which she won't understand and is just playing really, Brillopad I'm not sure about, maybe another MF Sockie but let's leave that for now.
