Mrs BP took her mother out on Friday - I paid and babysat. That was her present.

She gor hand made kids from the kids -plus a commercial card with a picture of a baby with a thought bubble with the caption "hmmm - mum looks a bit stressed - what can I do to push her over the edge?". Those with children will know this is not funny and is the reality.

Being on the edge beats the alternatives.

I have lived the last 15 years on the edge - I am sick of it.

The card I got my mother had a picture of a mum with clothes in a washing basket. Caption said "Mum got presented with clothes on Mothers Day"

Got my mum a bunch of flowers. Kids came over and cooked their mum (and me) dinner. Good day.

spent the entire day puking and not going far from the loo, wife not very sympathetic.

luckily had organised presents in advance.
