They climb on top of each other - it's a jungle out there! Difficult to be sure how many there are - easy to count 7 most of the time, can often count 8, and I thought I got 9 this morning, but can't be sure. One fatality that we know about.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostWhere are the rest of them?Comment

I'm pretty sure I've just seen nine, but one of them is very small.+50 Xeno Geek Points

Dunno what's happened. Think we've only got 3 live ones now. Was pretty busy yesterday, so didn't do a headcount, but didn't notice fewer than usual either.
Today there's three active babies - and signs of others not moving at the bottom of the nest, but difficult to see.
I don't think it normal for so many to die - wonder if maybe a virus or something?
Fingers crossed for the three.Comment

Three babies - getting a lot bigger, and feathers starting to grow on the wings. Think the eyes are almost there now too.Comment

Least you still have two. We lost the blackbird nest this year all 4 babies and mum to a neighbour's cat.Originally posted by k2p2 View PostJust two now.
