It's a shame that the police aren't allowed to 'entrap' thieving scrotes by leaving a bags of shopping, etc lying around and netting some easy meat.Comment

fancy leaving an unattended bag, it would have been a better story if you had returned to find it surrounded by sandbags and army robots from the bomb disposal squadComment

Oh I don't know. We were sitting outside a pub on benchs having a few bevvies with friends a couple of years ago and when Frau D. got home she found someone had dipped into her bag and half inched her purse.Originally posted by doodab View PostI was in the pub with some friends, went for a pee, and some utter ******* **** has dipped into my christmas shopping and stolen my gloves.
This is why i hate living in london. This wouldn't have happened in Germany.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

I know you'll never admit it but I'm guessing you left them somewhere, why would a thief dip his/her hand in a bag full off new items and pull out a pair of used gloves?
It's OK I sympathise with you, I once had a rant at the manager of the Queens hotel in Cheltenham complaining that my coat had been stolen from my room, as I walked away the memory of my drunken night came back and I realised I'd left it in a club.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Unlike the UK where the police can kill an 'allegedly' innocent man thus causing country wide riots where small-shop owners have their livelihoods ruined or where the intelligence services assist dictators in North African countries to detain the opposition.Originally posted by sasguru View PostPerhaps not. But in Germany far-right thugs can go a mass-murdering spree killing small-shop owners with the alleged active collusion of the intelligence services.
So its horses for courses really.

Quite. However you need to understand that in Doodab's world everyone's to blame but himself - he's a born whinger.Originally posted by gingerjedi View PostI know you'll never admit it but I'm guessing you left them somewhere, why would a thief dip his/her hand in a bag full off new items and pull out a pair of used gloves?Hard Brexit now!

The bag was under a table with several others, the gloves were stuffed in on top. I guess whomever nabbed them didn't want a barbara steisand cd or any of the other tasteless tat my relatives have requested. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment
