I provide a service, people pay for it. I have a few good customers and spend time touting for business when I have free capacity. How is that not a small business? Why is it that because the service is related to IT it's somehow qualitatively different than decorating, or plumbing, or accountancy? Is it because you find computers confusing?
Until you have to meet a regular payroll, embrace the legalities of emplying people you will never begin to understand what "having a business" is really like. Building a porn site and sharing some of the revenues with a couple of other contractors occasionally is not a business. It s a tax dodge.

It's nothing to do with IT. A small business employs other people, has many non-consecutive clients, and contributes to the environment around it in some way mainly by providing jobs.
A sole trader doesn't qualify as a small business to my mind. In actual fact most IT contractors get away with paying less tax and so contribute less to society.
      Hard Brexit now!

Technically it was an adult dating site, not a porn site.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

You've steadfastly avoided the issue: you're not creating wealth because you don't have the creativity to create a real business.

It's not going any more. There are plenty of others out there though. You want to get yourself on toyboy warehouse.

It takes more than "creativity" to create a business and make it successful. You also need opportunity, talent and hard work. It's no wonder you decided to go permie.
