Addicts will do anything to feed their addiction. There's only a few ways to deal with addict crime.

1. Lock them up
2. Give them drugs for free
3. Ensure that 10% of all illegal drugs on the market are rapidly lethal

Switzerland uses option 2, and drug-related crime is pretty much non-existent. The number of addicts has also dropped as the addicts live longer and a heroin-addled fifty year-old doesn't carry much "addict-chic", which means it's not so cool to take drugs anymore.

Pretty much. The camera can be wired or wireless, connected to your home network (if you have one) or internet connection that then stores the live feed on an internet server.

I imagine there are websites offering this service where you can view the stream live from any browser if you don't have the technical ability to rig up your own.

As these types of video clips, where scrotes are caught in the act, often get decent publicity and maybe even go viral, it's worth placing some suitable adverts in the background to either get some free promotion of your own services or an extra revenue stream.

Also, this time of year scrotes go stealing Christmas presents, so have a fake pressie under the tree that contains a cheap GPS tracker (can be made from an old mobile phone that can be tracked online).

Yep. IP CCTV that is automatically backed up online to prevent against equipment theft is a no brainer if scum live nearby.

Make sure it conforms to whatever requirements the fuzz have for it being admissible as evidence, such as proper date/time stamps.

What good is that going to do? The guy obviously has no respect for the law or getting caught (bearing in mind these stats are the ones he actually go caught for!! Double it for the reality). CCTV helps them catch him, doesn't stop him burgling you.

Look after your stuff, get door locks and other physical stuff will be more use than a camera to watch the scum bag nicking your gear.

The more solid evidence the more likely the rozzers will arrest him and the beak will send him down for a longer stretch.
