BTW its obvious you don't have any substantial stash of Euros otherwise you would be cacking yourself.

Germany could be paying me in bananas, if it all collapsed tomorrow they'd still have something to sell, and continue to pay me.

You should be asking how is it possible the euro is maintaining it's low exchange with the pound despite the crisis. I suspect you know why. Now that's reason to be cacking oneself.

The public sector in the UK makes up roughly half of all economic activity. That's borderline socialism, and it's a pretty long way from "extreme" capitalism.
