Theres a lot to be said about private GP appts if they did them. I'd be willing to pay £20-£30 for one if I could schedule when I wanted.

Had that in Singapore, might mean waiting at busy times but apart from that it was very easy.
The doctors surgery there would also dispense whatever drugs you needed too with saved on that other trip to the pharmacy

Yeh. I'd pay for it. My trouble now is my NHS Dentist is 30-40 mins drive away from where I am now (where I used to live).

So I'm thinking if I ever have to go there short notice it could be half days pay possibly its costing me. Even though in reality I could probably work the time back, its still hassle, so might bite the bullet and pay for private dentist (not easy to get NHS one in this area).

Although, I guess its even worse for some of you guys doing the mon-fri away from home thing. What do you do if you need doc/dentist urgently?
