Our local citylink driver is great - he usually delivers in the evening and will call back if we're out.

When I contacted Amazon to tell them it had gone astray I pointed out that HDNL kept losing stuff. The email from customer services included a couple of paragraphs of boilerplate about how seriously they take reports of problems with carriers, and that they review their arrangements, blah blah blah. Given that a Google search for HDNL throws up vast numbers of complaints I think Amazon need to actually take action on those reviews of their arrangements, rather than just doing them and then sitting back with the sense of a job well done.Comment

WHS. Not only Citylink but even DHL and other couriers employ contractors now on a self employed basis. I have had a few parcels delivered by couriers who live close by, have left a card with their mobile number and when I rang back to say I am home, they came over straight away to give me the parcel.Vote Corbyn ! Worst courier is Yodel. I think they are DHL rebranded or something.
