I had that in a car wash only the other day - Frantically trying to close the rear window with the switch in the driver's door, and only after being completely soaked remembered that the garage had replaced the front window switch assembly with a second hand one which didn't work the rear windows! I recall making a mistake of few hundred quid in invoicing once when I was doing work at home due to a cockup on my spreedsheet. Naturally, being a totally honest person I immediately emailed client apologising for error. Having established myself as a totally honest person made it easier to rip them off for thousands next time.
