My Mum had and eventually died with similar initial symptoms - it could be as simple as a kidney stone but in her case it was Goodpasture’s syndrome
Renal failure is one of the nastier ways to die so would be wise to present yourself to the doctor for investigation pretty sharpish especially if you are peeing lentil soup
