As I am in one of the most discriminated social groups around at the moment i.e. single white male with good job and own house, car, savings etc I think I can safely say she would do well go put the kettle on to make me a cuppa and fetch me my slippers'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

I'd hazard a guess that the number of women who really do view all men as sexual predators is probably about the same as the number of men who actually are sexual predators.
The fact that, in your day to day life, you seem to come across so many of them would suggest that they do not, in fact, see you as a predator, but that you're projecting this viewpoint onto them. i.e. you appear to be 'the common denominator'.
Hope that clears up any ambiguity.Comment

As I said, I dont lurk or come on to random women and disrespect peoples personal space. Im not that type of person and I treat people nicely unless Im given reason not to. It's foolish to jump to such a conclusion of someone you havent even spoken to one to one. Feel free to disagree with others viewpoints, but it's childish to attack someones persona.
You seem rather ignorant as to how life really is. It isnt full of rainbows on every corner. It is overpoplated with chavs and liberals who take political correctness to the extreme. Im not the only one to come across the degradation in Britain, many others have. Sexism and other inequalities are a far more widespread issue than you think, no thanks to labour, so unless you have been in hibernation for 15 years, you really need to open your eyes.
If you want to carry on discussing them instead of using petty insults to be dismissive feel free.
However I will extend the same courtesy to you. I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you may not be a troll or wearing rose coloured glasses either, as you may live in a home county like hertfordhire, or an area where sexism is the least of the concerns in society, such as cornwall for instance.Comment

I actually didn't view your post as hostile. Strangely that indicates one of the points k2p2 was getting a cross."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Of course the main problem why women do not get on in business is that they regard each other as a threat. Not like us blokes
They also bear grudges. They are also highly manipulative and political (which is why they should be good in the boardroom)Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

If you didnt view my post as hostile, which it wasnt supposed to be, (it was just a reflection on how sad a society is that uses positive discrimination to overcome prejudice) then what is the issue you think k2p2 is trying to get across?
Rather than speaking in riddles and being coy or evasive, why not just be honest and open and discuss the issue of sexuality, which is the core topic of this thread?Comment

Right, so you were trying to be snide ....
However I've been on this forum for a while and lots of people on here have sockies or come on here as a troll.

And I should add this is an internet forum and people will butt in on conversations particularly if you are being rude to someone."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

I might see your point on bearing grudges, as there is some ring of truth to the phrase "a woman scorned" and manipulative, which isnt always a bad thing. Some women are more socially adept than some of us blokes and know how to manipulate a situation to their advantage.
However on the point of seeing each other as a threat, I think that's common across both genders. With a lot of men, there is the dreaded "alpha male syndrome", especially if they are in a new relationship. I think you may be right on a point though, of when we disagree with another man, we will discuss it or even take it outside, but once it is dealt with, many men find it easier to move on without holding on to ill feelings.
As for political? It depends in what sense you mean? If you mean office politics and social interaction, I would agree. If we are talking about social, moral and political conversations, I wouldnt agree at all with that generalisation.Comment

Legally in the case of people with disabilities getting jobs and all female parliamentary short lists (unless you are Harperson husband). Illegally (until now) in the case of male primary school teachers.
The fact that the Labour Party want more female politicians and them higher up the party has already been answered.
The issue of women in the board room etc has already been answered."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
