While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

          What a very odd question.

I realised it wasn't actually funny

Was at garden centre with missus a few weeks back and they started playing House of the Rising Sun. My back went all tingly. No idea why, can't recall it has any particular associated memories.

Caught sidling towards the cover of the Leylandii when Mrs. X fetched you one with her correctional cattle prod? Just a thought.

Probably more all the garden implement stimuli around you than that particular song.

Similar thing happened to me at our local garden centre a few weeks back. They were playing the Nick Stroker Band and I experienced similar sensations to yourself.

I since concluded that these were caused by my being in close proximity to a John Deere sit on mower.

When they performed it live they had a Revox reel to teel tape recorder on stage, obviously playing the mix.

My first memory of that was someone playing it on a radio outside one sunny evening when I was a kid. The Animals version was 1964 and I thought it was great.
