Ahhhh! Young love hey.Originally posted by Moose423956 View PostWell, daughter spoke to boyfriend yesterday after he had an exam and borrowed a phone. He said his plan involves her apologising to the mother, she said "No way, why should I, I haven't done anything wrong". He hung up.
So, looks like that's that. Shame, they were good together. Ruined by his old trog of a mother. Hope I see her in town some time soon. I'll completely ignore her! That'll teach her.

I think doodab makes a valid point. No parent can ever know 100% what their child is up to when out of sight. Nor would most children give a full and frank account when questioned. I know my parents didn't know where I went, with whom or what we got up to. Why should todays kids be any different?Originally posted by Moose423956 View PostWell, daughter spoke to boyfriend yesterday after he had an exam and borrowed a phone. What did she do that could be seen as requiring an apology? Does she care more about her pride than about her boyfriend?Originally posted by Moose423956 View Post...He said his plan involves her apologising to the mother, she said "No way, why should I, I haven't done anything wrong"...

Don't overdo the revenge thing !!
Your daughter is only 16 - let her move on, mature a bit more, and find someone else who's mum is not a total nutjob.______________________

I believe the mother suspects my daughter of persuading him to go out for a while with her and some friends rather than go straight home. She didn't, but even if she had, would it have been that bad? Pathetic really.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Postjeez. It would have been nice to find out what she was supposed to apologise for.
