Another problem with "transparent degradation" is that if trolls know it exists (whether or not is has been applied to them), they'll keep changing IDs anyway even if they haven't spotted any symptoms of having been caught by it.

Look at the end of the day its a new feature on the site, same as tagging. If it's not working and the likes of EO and Churchill are going to get seriously offended every time someone reps them something they don't like to hear because they've told someone to hang themselves or someone doesn't sign it properly than I think we should remove the features. I don't want these fragile fellas getting upset.
Some might say, don't let the door hit their asses on the way out, but I'd prefer to keep them all warm and happy. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

You can choose not to look at it as well, though perhaps that is easier said then done. Once you start being upset by it, you'd always be wondering what people were saying.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I'm tempted to merge all these rep threads into one. We don't get to use the 'merge' feature very often. It'd clear a bit of the clutter.
Edit: Well that's tidy then isn't it? Chose AtW's thread as the title one as it seemed appropriate.Comment

I am being serious. check out Narcissim.Originally posted by Churchill View PostAre you EternalOptimist or St Jude?
I used to think it was a harmless thing like excess vanity, but I learned recently that it can be quite a serious personality disorder:-
Believing that you're better than others
Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness
Exaggerating your achievements or talents
Expecting constant praise and admiration
Believing that you're special and acting accordingly
Failing to recognize other people's emotions and feelings
Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
Taking advantage of others
Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior
Being jealous of others
Believing that others are jealous of you
Trouble keeping healthy relationships
Setting unrealistic goals
Being easily hurt and rejected
Having a fragile self-esteem
Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional
Since I discovered this, I have left the guy alone. and I will continue to do so.
he has a problem(\__/)

Good call my grey friend, but even better would have been to call it "The Official REP WARs! thread"Originally posted by realityhack View PostEdit: Well that's tidy then isn't it? Chose AtW's thread as the title one as it seemed appropriate.
