Why would you buy an expensive watch to impress people who know nothing about watches other than that a Rolex is expensive?

I'd argue that you'd look more impressive if you'd bought a stylish watch that not only looks good, but isn't the mainstream, popular luxury brand that footballers wear.
You won't be alerting anyone to anything with a mouthful of mixed seeds.

Its an automatic with a 36 or so hour charge. If you don't wear it, it will stop.

Personally I wear depending on mood:-
        • a omega seamaster
        • an ebel 1911 Chronograph (two tone)
        • a Rolex milgauss
        • a lefty Panerai Luminor

as you can tell my hobby is watches. Thankfully being a contractor its a practical hobby.

I'm surprised he doesn't wear a Hublot Big Bang Manchester United Edition. Its about the same level of taste as your communal garden rolex.

              What like its owner?

Personally I think the gear tolerance is so sh!te that it needs your body temperature to expand the cogs.

How sad to be so materialistic
I'm not, I dont own a Rolex. Was making the point that if you buy a luxury watch its to show off, as they all tell the time from a cheap Casio to the most expensive Rolex.

                    Wrong. (imo)

A watch is one of the few acceptable forms of jewellery that a man can wear so why not spend some money on it?

Thankfully, I couldnt rep you down, which I was going to do, so at least I don't have to apologise for that.
