The German commentators are making use of a few choice English phrases. "squeaky bum time" seems to be the main one but "big game player" has cropped up a few times.
Often these big games are disappointment but it's been a good game so far I think. 2-2 and extra time I reckon.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Yeah it's been end to end, Barcelona seem to find it easy to get into man utd box. Glad Rooney scored keeps it interesting.
I can't see it. If Barca are anything near 80% + their normal form, Man U won't see the ball.
However, hope springs eternal, and who knows? Maybe they were enticed into eating a dodgy kebab or meat pasty? If they drop their guard, Man U do have the players to capitalise. Otherwise 3-1 to the Cule Catalan cheats.
Not often I get these things right, but to a neutral Barca were always going to be the favourites. They are excellent at keeping posession, and have some crack players eg Iniesta, Messi, Villa etc who can capitalise on it. At the moment Spanish football is in the ascendency, but these things happen in cycles. Maybe it's Germany's turn next?

Barcelona made it look easy, best team I have ever seen, except maybe Brazil in 70s.
I found Spain quite boring to watch in the world cup. I'm not saying they weren't exceptionally skillful, or deserving winners, but they did seem to make a habit of passing the ball around until the other team got bored and nicking an unexceptional goal. I think the fact that Torres was so out of form was a factor, but they lacked entertainment value and I believe (or would like to) that the Germans or Uruguayans could have had them on another day. Barca seem to elevate that style of football to a different level, possibly because they are facing better opposition so they have to, and at least partly because of Messi. He is a bit special.
Edit: forgot to mention the best team I've ever watched with any regularity (on TV of course) would be the Gullit, Rijkaard & Van Basten AC Milan team.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
