    Vote no for AV

Keep FPTP. Its the only hope we have that the excesses of the left are occasionally reversed by the Tories.
Its not fair but the people are too stupid to trust and need to be saved from themselves.

Democracy is vastly overrated - a benevolent dictatorship that we can change every 5 years is better.

    Hard Brexit now!

But Shaunbhoy reckons we should be voting yes.

Is there some reason we should listen to you rather than him?

Sadly, whatever the system we use, once elected, the MP's will sniff the troff and only listen to the political masters and not the public. Very few politicians give a damn, but a lot will use constituent issues to score political points. My motto for today is Just Say No.

It's about time the country elects prime ministers, and not consituents / party faithfuls.

Not the sharpest tool is SB. I generally find taking a position diametrically opposed to him generally leads to a sound conclusion.

No argument with that principle, however your reasoning seems to be to pick a voting system based on the outcome you want it to achieve. Which is bad in the field of politics just as much as it is in science.

I want the outcome to be a balance of policies since the dumbed down majority are not always correct ...
Not sure how you can equate it to science since evidence decides that.

I'm equating it to science where you design an experiment to give the results you want/theorise.
