Commiserations. You have highlighted one of the main problems with these events, that of endless repetition by the media.

I think I'll avoid the radio and telly news for a day or two.

I agree, it's the repetition that sends me bonkers with these large events. I despise the Royal Wedding thing as the event, I genuinely hope they have a happy marriage, but I don't want to be exposed to constant media coverage about it.
