That's why Vodka is so good. You can get wasted on it and still be able to drink it next time.

Proper vodka (not the cheap crap, that tastes gross) is immune to that as it has little taste when mixed.

I have drunk it neat by the large measure when I wanted to go to oblivion, but not for a long while, but it is interesting how quickly it hits home if you're in a hurry.

Cider for me - 13 pints after a heavy loss at Sheffield United, I couldn't walk even and my mum had to stay up with me cos black sick was dribbling out of my mouth. I can still remember picking it off the next day.

Now the smell of it and the look of it in a pint glass brings it all back. Funnily enough apple juice is fine, love it...

Archers is - went through a bottle of that stuff and woke up the next day, apparently fine, until I drank a pint of water... then it hit me. Apparently the sugary drink crystallises in your system, and drinking water has the same effect as downing 1/4 of a bottle at once, instantly drunk again.

Same with Sambuca as well.

Midori is a melon-flavoured liqueur.
