Last time I flew there was a young child (I'd be guessing the age if I said less than one, still in nappies etc) in departures who was making an awful racket, crying. I'm sure kids that age can produce sounds of a louder volume than adults, and I was thinking it would be typical if that child were to be sat near me in the plane. Anyway, as it turned out I was spared, although the awful din was plenty loud enough from the other end of the plane, all the way through the flight.

Kids cry. It's a fact of life. You might as well complain that you don't like the colour of the sky.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostLast time I flew there was a young child (I'd be guessing the age if I said less than one, still in nappies etc) in departures who was making an awful racket, crying. I feel sorry for men in childless couples because, for whatever the reasons, you know people are looking at them and thinking "Jaffa?"Guy Fawkes - "The last man to enter Parliament with honourable intentions."Comment

I'll take my children to any restaurant I want to, regardless.
But I expect them to behave (which they do), so have no problem with it.
If children cannot behave, then they shouldn't be there.Comment

They can make as much noise as they want on the plane - I'm paying for a business class ticket for them, they can do what they want!Comment

Absolutely and it's the parents that're responsible for teaching the children how to behave and making sure they don't irritate other people.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostIf children cannot behave, then they shouldn't be there.Comment

The cruelty of it. Making them slum it in Business Class while you quaff diet coke in First Class. You're lucky I don't call social services...Originally posted by TheFaQQer View Post- I'm paying for a business class ticket for them, they can do what they want!Comment
